Collection of Goodbyes: Escapades III

With Collection of Goodbyes, Brennt Vanneste delivers a deeply personal and cinematic trilogy born from isolation and transformation. Originally a massive 4-hour project, it was split into three seamlessly connected chapters exploring themes of growth, letting go, and hope.

The journey begins with Escapades I, which blends post-rock, ambient, and lo-fi into rich, emotional soundscapes, featuring guest vocals from his sister Janne Vanneste. It then flows into Escapades II, moving from intimate lo-fi folk to expansive psychedelic rock and shoegaze, showcasing his gift for moving melodies. Finally, Escapades III concludes the trilogy with a rich mix of cinematic trip-hop, minimalist neo-classical, and psych-pop singles like “Freedom To Disappear”.

More than just a musical trip, Escapades is an inspiring journey of healing and transformation. Brennt and his sister Janne are currently touring this monumental solo work across various intimate venues and summer festivals.
