Isolde Lasoen presents new single ‘Egoland’

New album ‘My Kind of Drama’ out on 28 August

Isolde Lasoen’s brand-new single ‘Egoland’ finds the singer/drummer at her most playful and danceable, with 80s Hi-NRG live drums, vintage synths and a retro-futuristic ABBA disco drive running through. It’s layered and shiny Europop with a Cerrone sparkle, Moroder pulse and Flashdance vibe.

The track is in English, but produced à la façon French Touch by Mitch Declerck, known for working with the likes of Kavinsky and Gaspard Augé (Justice).

A tongue-in-cheek dig at our egos that can get in the way sometimes, Egoland is an invitation to leave our ego behind for real connection: “Turn your ego down, so you can hear your heart again”.

Supported by the likes of KCRW, BBC, FIP and British influencer Somewhere Soul, her third solo album ‘My Kind of Drama’ will be released on 28 August.
