Pulsing cold-wave drums, mesmerizing guitars, and a sound caught between The Cure and Siouxsie, with shades of Wet Leg: that’s ‘Falling Star’, the lead single from SALVIA’s debut album ‘Cult of Suffering’ (out November 27).

Intense, brooding, yet unmistakably rocking. For singer Nicole Selivan (23), who fled Ukraine at the start of the war, the track carries real weight, but hope runs through it too.

Having already impressed at Fifty Lab (BE), Reeperbahn (DE), and Left of the Dial (NL), SALVIA will present ‘Cult of Suffering’ — entirely produced and mixed by Nicole herself — at Le Botanique in Brussels on December 17.
