Ão unveils new track ‘Sorte’

With hypnotizing fadista vocals and indie saudade sounds, the melancholy of Ão's new song ‘Sorte’ rings with a sense of unworldly beauty in the face of sadness.

One of Europe's biggest indie revelations, ‘Sorte’ is another preview of the album set to be released in February 2026, the follow-up to the widely acclaimed Ao Mar.

This fall, Ão will be performing at showcase festivals such as MaMA (Paris), Waves (Vienna) and MIL (Lisbon). Previously, they have played at Reeperbahn (Hamburg, twice), ESNS (Groningen), MENT (Ljubljana) and WOMEX (Manchester).
