King Viktor
King Viktor is the brainchild of close friends Tom Stokx and Arno De Ros, born in 2018 as part of the healing process after the passing of Stokx’ father. Originally a live band of four, King Viktor soon evolved into its present line-up: a duo blending indie rock with shoegaze and dream pop, inspired by their love for bands like Slowdive, Radiohead and My Bloody Valentine. Debut single ‘Riptide’ was a highly addictive beauty with dreamy guitars and synths, and the velvety voice of Joachim Liebens, Stokx’ band mate in The Haunted Youth, and garnered high praise in international media, even making its way onto the playlist of the renowned Seattle-based indie station, KEXP. New single ‘Soon Enough’ is a Slowdive-esque, enchanting shoegaze trip, showcasing the mesmerizing voice of Elena Lacroix, the young and enigmatic frontwoman of the Liège/Brussels-based shoegaze/noise combo Eosine.
