Madd9  (born in Bilzen, Belgium in 2003) is undoubtedly one of the most striking voices in the recent generation of hip-hop talent in Europe. Together with his producer Preyas, he creates an immersive blend of hip-hop, neo-soul & funk. Preyas' mastery of analog synths and the distinctive Detroit-style hip-hop drums perfectly complement Madd9’s infectious hooks and layered verses, resulting in a distinctive sound that’s both innovative and familiar to contemporary hip-hop enthusiasts.

In 2023 he joined forces with Beatville, the creative hub & management firm that houses renowned artists like Coely, Fahad Seriki (fka DVTCH NORRIS), and Yann Gaudeuille. After making a great impression as official support of Coely during her latest tour, his growing reputation was solidified when he emerged as one of the winners of the Sound Track 2023 competition. Adding to his impressive resume, Madd9 opened several times for legendary hip-hop group Slum Village in The Netherlands and is featured in the line-up for Gladiolen, Rock Herk, M-idzomer, a testament to his rising status as a compelling live performer.
