Aure presents new single “Dans La Plaine”

Aure's shimmering debut single "The Line" conquered many hearts in her home country (FIP, Les Inrocks) and in the Benelux (Radio 1, Duyster, Radio2/Blokhuis, RTBF Jam).
“Dans La Plaine” is her new single, the first in her mother tongue, and with her husky Nico-like voice and subtle Leonard Cohen guitar picking, it is another gem by this Parisian top talent: a delicate and poetic folk chanson à la Françoise Hardy, Mariee Sioux or Sybille Baier. 
The single comes with a beautiful video, directed by Aure herself.

Aure: “This song is about duality and doubt in love. The plain (La plaine) represents the vastness of the world in which every couple, every couple has to evolve, with the inevitable falling down and getting up again.”

Aure is set to perform at the notorious Leffingeleuren festival in Belgium in September, along with Rozi Plain, Runnner and King Hannah, as part of a line-up curated by renowned Flemish radio icon Ayco Duyster. Other shows in Belgium, Holland and France are confirmed and will soon be announced.

Aures debut EP “A Few Notes” will be out on 24 November.
