Calicos release new single “Comedown”

Brand new single by Calicos and first step towards the new album, expected in early 2024. ‘Comedown’ is jubilant indie americana, combining Bruce Springsteen’s sparkling pop sound of the 80s, The War On Drugs’ epic melodies and Jonathan Wilson’s superb songwriting. Imagine driving down a desert road, car window down, arm out, and this high-spirited alt country song blasting out at full volume.

Calicos won the Belgian renowned and bi-annual music competition Humo's Rock Rally in 2018 (previous winners: Novastar, Meskerem Mees, Whispering Sons, ...) and achieved great success with the single 'Nova' in 2020. Now they're back, and could well become the surprise of the year!
